I feel heartsore for my alma mater and friends & ex-colleagues & students at Celtic & Scottish Studies and to all the departments at the Edinburgh University which have had 90 courses culled. This is destruction. This is cultural vandalism. Shame on Edinburgh University #EthnologyForever

Hi #sewsky does anyone know of a shirt pattern which looks close to this? I had this MNG top c.2000 and wore it til it wore out. it has great structure to it, in a stable woven. been looking to recreate it.
Shirt on a mannequin. the shirt has wide 3/4 length sleeves and a pointed collar . it has a deep v neck to a seam beloe the bust. The top bust detail has a slight wrap detail.

3 yrs ago, to almost the hour. Last #BusStopSelfie after my last walk to my last day at work at SSSA at Ed Uni. on precipice of last few days living in Edinburgh, in what would be last few days of a marriage. Went forward with positivity and never looked back yet with anything other than gratitude

Today I learned a bit about Photo etching and embraced the challenges. I also got to express ideas and felt like no ask was silly. I’m absolutely loving this process of learning at @gaada.bsky.social and thoroughly grateful for their support. #AmIAnArtist - not sure, but I am a very full cup

well, given that today is Tuesday 23rd September, I think i better take this book out!
inside jacket blurb of the book Earth to Earth by John Cornwell which reads “On Tuesday morning, 23 September 1975, the corpses of three unmarried siblings, last surviving members of the ancient Luxton clan of Winkleigh, North Devon, were found on their remote farm.
All three had had their heads blown off. Robbie's cheeks and neck had been stabbed; Frances had a broken leg. Strangely, each of the four doors to the house had been locked from the inside.
The Luxtons' idyllic farm on a stretch of lush countryside between Exmoor and Dartmoor had been lovingly tended with outdated methods.
There were rumours of a thwarted betrothal, wrangles over money and property, generational feuds in the extended family, bouts of insanity and extreme miserliness.”
