when i was young, we had to consciously turn them off before we fell asleep as otherwise they would burn the room down. i remember vividly being aware of the freezing cold seeping in after that as i tried to fall asleep.

i visited Confelicity bakery in Edinburgh earlier today and got myself a cinnamon roll thing and it was yummy. it is an entirely gluten free bakery and for someone with coeliac disease like me that's pretty amazing.

a half eaten cinnamon roll thing on a plate. it is gluten free but maybe it's hard to tell.
