Been working on some ink-ey VFX lately, here's an impact ! I tried out After Effects for the first time with this one, that was fun 😄✨ #ue5 #vfx #realtimevfx #madewithunreal

Oh hey, it's been a while ! 😄 I took a little break after posting my last VFX but I've been back at it for the past 2 weeks, this time working on something... misty ☁️✨ The "casting" part is coming along nicely but it's obviously (very) far from being done ! #madewithunreal #vfx #realtimevfx #ue5

[Realtime VFX - Vampiric Cure 🧛] I'm closing off 2024 with this little healing spell ! ✨ It was pretty refreshing to take a softer approach to my shape language and timings ! 😄 For 2025 I'm aiming to deep-dive into environment VFX (but also make more character FX ofc) so stay tuned for that ✨

[Realtime VFX] - Cleansing Fire 🔥 It's done ! ✨ This one was fun 😄 I experimented a bit with baked fluid simulations for the dissipation of the magic circle ! It was a bit tricky but I think it came out alright ! #vfx #realtimevfx #rtvfx #madewithunreal #ue5 #gameart

Continuing on the fire spell from last time, I made a first version of the projectiles and the impact ! 🔥 Lots of things to tweak of course but I'm at a place where I can feel confident about using this as a v1 ! ✨ #ue5 #vfx #realtimevfx #gameart #madewithunreal

Currently working on a fire spell using the distortion material I made last time ✨ Here's the progress on the wind up, although I might change the magic circle a little, I'm not sure about those lines all around the outer part 😅 #unrealengine #vfx #realtimevfx #madewithunreal #ue5 #gameart

[Realtime VFX] Chosen Fighter 📿 It's done ! 😄It was pretty fun to work on and a nice change of pace from my last couple of effects ✨I managed to make a nice material to handle texture distortion so I'm pretty excited to play with that in the future 😄 #ue5 #vfx #realtimevfx #madewithunreal #gameart

A bit of progress, I ended up shifting to a buff effect instead of a summon as I was heading (once again) towards "sensational but not usable". It's still a bit rough so I'll spend the next few days polishing until it looks like it could fit in a real game 😄✨ #ue5 #vfx #realtimevfx #madewithunreal

Here's a little sneak peak of the effect I'm currently working on ✨It's gonna be a... simple... summoning spell 😇 (do NOT make a combo again...do NOT make a combo again...do NOT make a combo again...) #ue5 #vfx #realtimevfx #unrealengine
