Not too much of an issue with pre-gunpowder era weapons and armies. Swords and daggers usually aren't mass produced to matching standards across a nation. Unless your under the yoke of the bloody Romans, buggers bringing us standardisation and early mass production 🤣

Ah, ok, for me, it's a little header on the Recommendations page. Jokes on them though, despite buying MANY digital editions of The Hairy Biker cookbooks, I haven't actually cooked anything from them, as we don't have an oven. Also, it's my aunt that dabbles in watercolours and colouring in.

It's an issue that's also ironically effected a few 40k novel lines as well, with a few titles that were clearly intended to be trilogies left with only 2 books instead.

Just look at what happened to the Eight Lamentations series by Josh Reynolds, he was dropped without the series being finished properly. It's hard to get invested in a setting if book series keep being left unfinished and incomplete, a problem since AoS 2nd edition onwards.

So, I feel there's two factors in play here. 1st, WH40k dominates the fiction range that the Black library produces, as well as the actual gaming circles, both physical and digital. 2ndly, GW has a bad habit of letting authors go part way through a series of novels, this is especially true of AoS.

She's had TWO miniatures! 1st image, the original version at the end of AoS 1st edition, when the Vanguard Chamber models were released, this model became a generic character during 3rd edition, as... 2nd image, the version that comes with an Entourage that was released for 3rd edition.

I always found it interesting, when I spent November in The USA, how little they could comprehend the shortness of our days in winter, and how amazed I was by their long hours of daylight, and it all came down to the fact that the UK is much much further north than people think.
