How are you pulling that data? I'm looking at the DOE Clery Act data, and can't find 1,200 there. (The Clery Act demands annual reporting of all crime on and off campus). Interested people can review data here: ope.ed.gov/campussafety...

Great thread. Revive the OTA! This is also why I do not support term limits in Congress (at least not until other issues are fixed), because they would increase the churn and lead to even more reliance on lobbyists to explain complex issues.

The remaining oil in the SPR is soaked with salt. It's going to be hard to process. AND the SPR is at risk of collapse. AND you can't pump oil from the SPR quickly without permanantly damaging the salt caverns.
