Having sushi for dinner- the cat answered the door, sat purring so loud it was like a jet engine spinning up and now…

A white and black cat keenly meerkating up for some salmon.

Emi Sakura's post about PAC is breaking my heart

The first time I spoke with him was in Ireland in 2018. When you're living in an English-speaking country, Japanese suddenly reaches your ears in a startling way. Our conversations always started with his "Otsukaresamade-su." Backstage, I wouldn't sense his presence at all, but then those words would arrive right by my ear like the wind. And so I'd search for him. There's no English phrase that translates it just right—its meaning encompasses hello, long time no see, glad to see you, good work, goodbye, good night, see you later, and all sorts of other things rolled into one. I think it's the kind of greeting that comes from the way he's confronted pro wrestling in Japan. It's time. As always, I grab my bag and climb into the car. I can't believe the show goes on. Today and from here on out, forever, I know I'll keep straining to listen. Thank you, PAC.

I can't believe it man, I just can't believe it. 40 is just absolutely no age, what a horrible few weeks for wrestling it's been. R.I.P ;____; www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

A serene morning at the Kamogawa Delta, Kyoto 🌿💧 Where the Kamo and Takano rivers meet, the city slows down — stepping stones, quiet ripples, and mountains standing watch in the early light.

I agree 100%, I used to always visit the one in Nishinomiya in Hyogo prefecture. Their stock wasn't updated very often, but I got anime figures and Kamen Rider/Super Sentai stuff for a few hundred yen that would cost 2000 yen+ in Tokyo or tourist areas in Kyoto or Osaka #NekoDesu

Kinda sucks that between inflation, shipping costs, and the secondhand market of everything being shitty, all those things I almost bought at $50-100 in 2012 are $300 now.
