more likely it was a corvée system since centralized tax taking was rare. They also said that it was a form of public education cresting trades, engineers, scientists and more. Public works and education spending essentially. White people saw this evidence and said. You are shills for Agenda.

White people and hoteps said the Pyramids and supernatural forces built the pyramids. Archeologists said no. Engineers showed how they would use technology available at the time. The alien hypothesis became fring(er). White people pivoted to saying they were enslaved. Archeologists said maybe,

There is a lifeform somewhere that is having discussions on the fringe the idea of life existing on planets bombarded by constant star radiation and saying that non-gaseous water on such planets is statistically unlikely.

Years later in 2022 I was much heavier and could deadlift a spaceship. Now I have found balance. Though in my 50s I might let myself get a little soft. After a few sub 3 hour marathons and sub 9.5 ironmans.

I was running 10 kilometers a day, lifting HEAVY 5 days a week, working as a server and doing an internship that involved me being in the sun. I weighed 76 kilograms and kept wondering why I was injured all the time.

I can usually handle anything in print or movies as long as it is not too much sexual violence. I tried to read the comic Ice Cream Man a few years ago and although it was not scary it was very darksided. I had to stop and I am concerned about the writer and artist.

Sports is the closest you have to meritocracy under capitalism. It is emblematic of society how consumers want this capped even though the money saved is going to flow upwards. Not into paying for stadiums or player pensions. Just billionaire wealth and insurance for bad management.

My friend called me around midnight. After a 3 hour workout, 3 hours of classes and a full shift at Outback. About 16 hours. She wanted me to drive them to a strip club as I do not drink and lived next to her. Driving home at dawn she said "we can't do this anymore." I was 25, she 24. She was right.

I think that a large fossil fuel company is going to use a LLM and it is going to cause an oil spill worse than Deepwater Horizon. It will be the environmental movements Sandy Hook or Las Vegas shooting. My more precise guess is a service or chemical company. Halliburton, Schlumberger or Petronas.

Just enough people, regardless of their broader social class, do not want an egalitarian society. They see the hunter and instead of wondering how to get the guns in the hands of the rabbits or getting rid of the hunters they aspire towards being able to massacre bunnies.

OP actually you very clearly & concisely described the exact line of thinking that outcrops from individualism derived capitalism. All of our hypercapitalist uber rich who control *something* (media empire, a tech corp, a resource, territory etc.) come up against the ‘Might As Well Be Me’ conundrum.

Between Ukraine and Iran, this is going to happen more frequently because supply chains are deliberately extremely thin already to maximize profits and minimize waste. The latter only matters to facilitate the former.

Nuclear weaponry has been the Sword of Damocles since 45. Climate change has been devastating humans since the 70s. People are indifferent or in denial yet are aware of these effects. Nuclear war is so ingrained that it gives 8.3 billion people steady cortisol we only occasionally acknowledge.
