When @jcsalterego.bsky.social posts literally anything.
A picture of a dingy gray building with a large yellow smiley face sign on top and the word fun underneath it, however, around the corner, you can see that the word fun turns into “funeral services” and there is actually an old rusty hearse and a casket off to the side

My post says:
TWO. There's at least TWO of us. Also applies to enneagram. Get that away from me.

The Two refers to two women who do not care for tarot and astrology and then I add that I also cannot stand enneagram.

@stori3dpast.bsky.social I need advice, friend, and I’m asking publicly instead of on DM because I’m hoping other people need similar advice and can benefit. I have a beautiful, fragile, oldish book I need help preserving.
A photo of a paperback copy of The Discarded Image by C. S. Lewis. This is the 1970 printing. It is quite delicate to handle and there is a heinous ThriftBooks sticker on the spine.

Age Assurance screen from Bluesky app. Heading reads "Hey there!" followed by text: "You are accessing Bluesky from a region that legally requires us to verify your age before allowing you to access the app. Based on your network, we think you're in Texas, United States. This estimate may be inaccurate if you're using a VPN. Tap here to update your location with GPS." Blue button labeled "Share age range" with shield icon. Below: "Sharing your age range reveals only the range associated with your Apple Account – for example, that you're at least 18. Your exact age and birthday are never shared, and this data never leaves this device. Therefore, it only enables access on this device. Alternatively, you can use our trusted partner, KWS, to complete your verification and enable access on all platforms." Bluesky logo at bottom.

Beautiful cornfields of Iowa on the way to the airport this morning.
An all black photo except a little light that is the driver’s gps screen reflected in the window glass. Outside in the dark, early morning hours is presumably a cornfield. Or a soybean field. Hard to tell. Impossible, really

Who has two thumbs and DIDN’T die on Mt. Herman tonight??? 👍 this woman!!! 👍
A woman smiles up at the camera. The smile is a lie. She is fighting for her life. The trail map led her up a near cliff face. It wasn’t a hike, it was a scramble. She thought she’d have to call search and rescue at one point. Mt. Herman is a monstrous beast.

Great news guys, the 70s are back with a VENGEANCE.
An IKEA banner that says, “what’s happening next “and then below it are the words “a home in constant bloom“ and a picture of a couch with a brown floral fabric upholstery. It has reddish brown pillows on it. It looks like something my grandmother would have owned and considered fashionable. But below the picture are the words “October, 2026 revive and refresh your home“ so apparently my grandma is stylish again.

If you don't know what ancient grain you are, you need to find out. www.theodramatist.com/ancient-grain
your closest affinity

Rye
Secale cereale — Anatolia, then northern and eastern Europe

You are Rye — the grain that began as a weed in wheat fields in Anatolia and eventually became the dominant cereal of the cold northern lands where wheat would not thrive. Rye spread north and east through medieval Europe, becoming the everyday bread of Germany (pumpernickel, vollkornbrot), Scandinavia (rugbrød), Poland and Russia (zhitnyi khleb, kvass), the Baltic states. Whiskey, vodka, and various northern spirits run on rye. The flavor is robust, sour, dark, faintly bitter; the gluten is different from wheat's and produces a denser, moister loaf. Rye contains gluten and is not celiac-safe. You are the figure of the cold-climate grain — endurance, sourness, dark loaves, long winters, and a flavor that tolerates more than wheat can imagine.
secondary affinities

Barley

The ancient world's everyday grain — for bread, soup, porridge, and (above all) beer.

Spelt

Hexaploid hardy wheat — the Roman army's grain, hardier than common wheat, gentler-flavored than rye.

Oats

Began as a weed; became the heart of Scottish, Irish, and Northern European peasant life.

As somebody who is maintaining the population, I'd like to say, please please please go vibe and chill and do fun things. I will keep up the population, as long as you maintain the hobbies and pastimes. Someday I won't have my kids around any more and I'll need you to catch me up.
Two posts from different short-form sites:
champagnecruz says:
Having hobbies as an adult is wild. You'll get emotionally demolished at work and then be like "Anyway, I'm off to pottery class at 7pm"

Eagan @zeagan says:
As a childless adult it is my duty to embrace hobbies and pastimes that my peers cannot, as they have sacrificed their free time to maintain the population. I must vibe and chill, and do fun things, in their honour.
