Peddling my wares at the Rock Creek Library Fall Festival

Lord Myk: Weaver of Fictions @lordmyk.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

On Monday, I printed out about ten sheets of these stickers as well as one cardstock page for display purposes. I accidentally cut up the display sheet last night. So today the goal is printing out another one.

I meant to do creative stuff last night but, instead, spent the whole evening ripping library CDs to my computer which required every necessary port and most of the computer's attention. It will be worth it, so long as everything then got shifted to the cell phone I use as an MP3 player properly.

I don't particularly like the yellow piping on the costume, or the weird belt they keep putting on his designs these days, but hopefully this is good.

I have taken up playing the Pokemon card game. I have yet to win a match in real life but this fact hasn't deterred me from moving forward which means the meds are working as a few years ago so much failure would have made me never want to play it again.

I'm going to be selling stickers at the end of this summer and, perhaps, online and these are they. Doing a mix of my own characters, cryptids, and some other ones that will make some people annoyed but that's fine. They don't have to buy the stickers.

Lately @ladyjess.bsky.social and I have been watching the Japanese version of Digimon Adventure and it's made me wonder if some Digimon have psychological issues since they keep Digivolving back and forth, sometimes into wildly different forms.

I recently watched the original "Speed Racer" cartoon and I was surprised at how many people just straight up got killed on the show. Often on screen, getting shot or exploded. In one case a leopard got stripped to the bone by piranha and they showed the before and after.

Not only does Disney currently own a comic book company they underuse, in the 90s they had another one that put out some decent stuff. Also: Disney doesn't seem to like acknowledging most of its animated shows exist, do they?
