We expect that to be clarified soon, although we knbow CEC maintain the grass alongside, tarmaced the path, installed lighting columns along it, and a handrail, so presumably they were ok with doing that work previously.

& additional concerns raised from older residents. As things stand, the "Councils estates team have been contacted with regards to ownership as it is not a path that has been adopted by CEC roads department and actually sits out with the boundary of Redhall Park."

Continued discussion with @edinburghcouncil.bsky.social officers about the poor condition of the Hawmuirside path running from Redhall Dr down to the park & onwards to the canal. There have been 2 incidents affecting local residents recently (fortunately not hurt badly),

Welcomed a fantastic 48 young folk who ran, jogged, and walked around the course. Girls were dominating today with Isla claiming an impressive first place while setting a new female course record, & claiming most of the PBs. We all know girls are more resilient in the tougher weather of course. 💪

- highlighted the need to rationalise the waste collection options as currently very disjointed. Hubs / bin chutes / wheelie bins meaning different vehicles having to service them all, and unclear what households are being serviced by hubs, likely resulting in lack of capacity at the hubs.

12 affordable units located in Block B accessed from one stairwell allowing a Registered Social Landlord (RSL) to administer them. Appeal was made to the Scot Gov Reporter - dismissed 17/09/24. They remain un-let despite Section 75 legal agreement, & given the housing emergency, disgracefully so.
