These were an eBay find. Plastic (!) cake pans with a very nice dolphin shape.

I also found this, and I was incredibly sad to be a large person for just a moment.

Went on a thrifting date with Ronnie yesterday, and I found this:

Time to come loose, bolt. I'm not asking.

Spirit Halloween really does have shitty partial fursuits...

000

Longbottle @longbottle.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

I was not expecting this to be terrible. But I also was not expecting it to actually be GOOD, and worth a repeat purchase.

Glad I can't upgrade past macOS 15.x

Definitely getting my money's worth this month.

Dammit, @wafflehouse! Why no location in Florida?!

Here's a few more of the VW Bus

Got a free birthday drink from Wawa, and as a bonus, I saw this parked in their lot when I came out

000

Longbottle @longbottle.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

I went to check to see if @Wawa had any deals on hoagies, and this was a very welcome surprise. With money tight, this felt good. Thanks, Wawa.

Saw this the other day. I wonder what (if any) connection they have to the Voyager program...

Was thrifting with Ronnie on Thursday, and I found this at a local hospice thrift store. I confirmed, it's real.

000

Longbottle @longbottle.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

Why did nobody tell me that this was a thing?!

000

Longbottle @longbottle.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

I made burritos for dinner tonight, and I experimented by making a DIY take on Taco Bell's grilled cheese burrito. Damn, it was good!

000

Longbottle @longbottle.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Saw these in Dade City yesterday. I'm not sure what was going on, but I bet there was some sort of event.

The capitulation is disgusting.

There's no such thing as a free lunch, or sweetener without a price.

Because it IS gambling. Tax it like it is!

I wish these golf shirts weren't $15-20. I love them, but I don't need new shirts.

I know the proper nomenclature would be "hangar" for an airplane, but these are literally attached to houses, just like an automotive garage.

000

Longbottle @longbottle.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

So, there's an airport in Lakeland, FL which is one of those tiny ones, just for the hobbist planes. The runway is just a field of grass. But the most interesting part is the homes on one side, with PLANE GARAGES facing the runway.

Congratulations, you've reinvented radar in a roundabout way.

Flat tire. then, issue with my emergency jack. So, I limp it home (inflate, drive slow, stop, repeat) the 3/4 mile. Then, stuck bolt. Impact couldn't budge it. Heat, cold, WD-40, and ultimately, a sledgehammer on a cheater bar did the trick. Fun day.

Me every time I smell a whiff of asphalt:

Found this on the side of the road the other day. I now have FOUR mini fridges sitting in the garage...

I'm not sure how these Norton Antivirus muffins taste...

Stupid? Yes. Did I laugh anyway? Yes.

@mikeokuda.bsky.social I found something at a thrift store that you might find fascinating:

I can't imagine it was easy for this person in their military career with that surname...

What I FINALLY ended up having to do that worked? Booted up the SuSE ISO, and YaST in the installer worked perfectly for what I needed.

Today's Marketplace find. This piece of lab equipment cost $100-150k new, and $3,000-$13,000 on the used market.

I was recently put in a position where I had to get an official value for my vehicle, and it was to my advantage for it to be as low as possible.

I hate how much I want this dumb thing...

000

Longbottle @longbottle.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Overall, I would rate this solution 3/5 stars. It works, it helps, but it's not comparable to the built in A/C in terms of effectiveness. It also is hard on the electrical system if I'm not consistently travelling at highway speeds.

I'm pretty sure I get an achievement unlocked for this, I'm just not sure which achievement. That's a 100-150 gallon heating oil tank in the back of my car. The support rack was strapped to the roof.

This 100% seems like the type of photomanipulation that I'd expect from @nanoraptor.danamania.com , but it's apparently real.
