Actually you did vote for this, dipshit
Erick Erickson: Talked to a friend whose business has been hit hard by diesel and tariffs. He vented, "I voted for him, but I didn't vote for this." Real frustration out there.

Get in, folks: a new Russian disinfo campaign is targeting the midterms, specifically Democrats, in what seems to be the first attempt by the Kremlin-backed op to meddle in this year’s U.S. elections. They're faking celebrity videos attacking Dems and are...very stupid. www.ms.now/news/russia-...

Also it’s a lot easier for pundits to stare at the feeds and come up with reactionary “takes” than it is to do the hard work of interviewing people or gathering original data, partly because editors are overworked and goals from the biz side are warped

My best guess after a lot of on-the-ground research is that so many political types, esp reporters, spend so much time on Twitter/X because they aren’t terribly interesting people and crave likes from other people to convince themselves they are interesting

Good lord I wish some of you could read on this text based social media website.
Yeah. This is Jack Dorsey saying Twitter wants to be AT Protocol, not a product. Here we are, and that’s Bluesky in big ways, but it is also a product. People know what that logo means. Political pundits say “the Bluesky crowd,” and that signifies whatever they want it to signify. I’m just wondering if you want to break that branding in any meaningful way.

Yeah, we want to expand it. “Breaking” is maybe the wrong word, but yes, we want to expand more and more so that Bluesky means not just one thing, not just liberal politics, for example. I will point to sports as an example from the last year. We’ve made a very concerted effort to bring on sports leagues and sports writers, and it’s worked really well. There are a ton of sports conversations now on the app, and those people come here for the sports, not for the liberal politics. It’s possible to expand.
