Ok, I sucked it up and listened to That Song. It’s fine. Generic slick Nashville sound, basic song structure, doesn’t get too rock or hip hop, she’s got a nice contralto voice. Lyric approach clever, but could have spent more time workshopping. Biggest thing is she doesn’t emote well.

This. If you want me to vote for “sort of ok, better than evil,” you make VERY SURE they’re even SORT OF good. Conceding the rights of a human is NOT GOOD AT ALL. I’m not saying “both sides are the same,” I’m saying I can’t vote for someone who agrees with their opponent about dehumanization.
