Crossed my mind while I was reading Zelazny: the past tense of the narrative mostly indicates the speaker (1st person POV especially) tells us about some events happened to them *in the past*! #FantasyIndiesMay #writingcommunity 11. Monsters in WIP I have dozens. Sluagh, Dullahan, Gulon, Cath Sith, Glaistig... But I think the scariest are Cwn Annwn, inspired by Welsh myths. These hounds chase their victims, paralysing them with fear, tearing them apart and licking their blood. No escape.
