Noem mentioned technology because it is the only way she could bring it around to blame Biden. When was the last time Trump invested in anything outside ICE, jails, and deporting people? He isn’t going to waste “his” money on investing for someone else

Getting the country back on track has to start from within, especially when the greatest damage is being done internally. It’s heartbreaking to watch the U.S. unravel like this. The longer the chaos continues, the more it snowballs into something far harder to recover from.

The people must rise up and fight, together! Just as in any abusive relationship, you are being isolated. You must do this for yourselves. Fight for morals, safety, democracy, fairness, honesty, or whatever it takes, but just rise up and hit the reset button. It is hard to watch you like this

I did similarly on a conference trip, for learning purposes, to USA last weekend. Crossed my Ts and dotted my Is, and had all documents prepared and available. My family was very concerned and called to warn me about arrests the day I arrived, because anything can happen now. No problems, though.

This plays out some of my fears in using Starlink for internet access. I was told by an American on the weekend to "get over it.” "Musk responded on social media by calling the move "crazy", retweeting a post that suggested he should cut off Canadian access to SpaceX and Starlink in retaliation."

I wasn’t around in the 1920’s, but I saw many talented acts in the street and pubs of New Orleans in 2004. We were going to bring our kids the following year, but for the grace of God, I couldn’t get one shift covered at work. We would have been there during hurricane Katrina.
