And there's no guarantee as to the providence of the training data so it's inherently tainted if you care at all about the protections that open source licenses offer.

I just don't get it. Do working things no longer interest people? This feels like going back to the '90s and "lol stfu works for me"-oriented development.

I'm not sure if Arachnophobia or Ghostbusters 2 came first.

people keep getting this wrong. a softlock is if a game is technically continuing to function, but it is in a state where it is impossible to progress (e.g. idaho). if it's entered a state where core functions don't work anymore and you can't reset out (e.g. florida) that's a hardlock.

This is part of why I always recast percentages as "one in every x people" terms. Tends to make the magnitude way more apparent.

Ah, I was coming from the standpoint of comparing it to TokiTowa, which you called "popular", so I figured there was a degree of derision to it. Sorry for misunderstanding.

And once the boss rush genre thrives, all will come to realize Stretch Panic's greatness and the appeal of unique setpiece bosses

Oh, Second Light is good? As much as I tried to love Blue Reflection it was very... mixed... so I've kinda just been leaving the sequel alone.

Wizard of Oz. They'd make Ozma a cis boy and it would suck immensely.

Can we go back to the FromSoft release cadence where they'd drop an AC every year or so and a couple weird things in between?

Earlier I called it the Gundam SEED of Castlevania and, the more I ruminate on it, the more justified I feel in that assessment.

Cave Noire mentioned! Extremely cool game.

Oh god, the music was so sauceless in the demo I was forgetting it AS IT PLAYED. Hand on my heart, I cannot even tell you what instruments were in the songs.

Kinda reminds me of what Mercury Steam did to... to Castlevania. Huh.

A Boeing 727 in the year 2026? Bet your ass I'm going to go get it.

A white Boeing 727-200 with a dark blue tail and a baby blue spots pattern against a blue sky. The aircraft is on short final for runway 23R at Rickenbacker International Airport in Columbus, Ohio.
