My next few books I've got lined up are non-fiction so I'd love some fiction recommendations for when I have a change of pace

I swear I really needed that showing of my old short film. I have wasted a lot of time not being creative when I actually can make interesting art, but I'm excited about the future.

I'd really love to make a pseudo-documentary (I hate the term mockumentary when it's not in reference to a comedy) as well. I very much like the idea of you set it up like it's totally fluffy and light, and the documentary makers at some point release there's some far darker stuff in the background.

I am so very excited about getting into documentaries. I think for this year it will mostly be doing low-key ones, but at the same time I am going to putting in the pre-production for two big projects. I want to do one on eviction resistance and another on a wide range of left wing protestors.

My teeth grinding has been so bad lately, I don't think I've had a good night's sleep in about two months now.

This is a thread of the books I've read so far, a tiny little review. I'll keep adding to it as I go. Starting with Blaxploitation Cinema. A fun and informative book. I would say if you have a decent enough understanding of blaxploitation nothing will be too surprising but it's a useful reference.

Blaxploitation Cinema by Josiah Howard. Scenes of action on the cover.

Once I feel comfortable with the routine I'm learning, which I think I'll be okay around December, I'm going to start putting together my stripper style routine. 100% doing it to The Cramps - Queen of Pain

This guy didn't even drive a car affected by ULEZ. Just getting absolutely furious about the principle of not being able to choke people to death on fumes.

I think tonight I'm actually going to dress a little more reserved. May also even wear my purple Frankenhooker wig. I'm wearing my favourite black dress, I just look too good in it.

Have to say, that first week of sertraline was not nice, and I think it is effecting my sleep still, however overall I do not feel nearly as erm, chaotically depressed.

I just saw an AI video in which several women's heads had been attached to robot dog bodies and the women cry out "release us from this flesh prison" and there's a lot going on but, you're a robot dog, that's not a flesh prison.

I fucking love people who become more themselves with age. Stranger taste. Clearer boundaries. Louder laugh. Less interest in impressing random people. Watching somebody slowly stop auditioning for the world is fucking beautiful.

So I have the first minute or so of my routine penciled in! It's very rough but once I've the whole routine down, I'm just going to drill it and drill it until it's perfect. 🧑‍🩰

Just watched the first episode of Lanterns and yeah that's good stuff. Great cast, Kelly Macdonald in particular is always a delight. Pretty good looking show, well shot.

Quite funny this "mystery" about the RAF thing when quite clearly the real explanation is very dull and easily explained, it just makes a whole bunch of important people look like total dickheads so they're going to be as vague as possible, for as long as possible.
