I wonder what would have happened if folks had taken seriously the rise in political violence and threats against women, trans, Black, and antifascist organizers and figures back when we were all getting swatted and sent photoshops of ourselves beheaded

I'm not sure if this is venting or asking for advice, but going on vacation the next few days anyway.

Ugh; re-resolved to fucking figure out bottom surgery ASAP, but in an annoying place where work insurance doesn't cover and I can't practically change employers, I'm making too much to readily get financial aid but not enough to save up for it... but need to figure it out.

So the company who's buisness model is now basically selling AI generated CSAM is blocking a law to make that illegal, all while a new law to make CSAM legal to own so long as it's "AI generated" quietly moves through the courts. Cool and normal country

Regardless, that's a really compelling level of gay; you look great there

I haven't checked, did someone make a joke about "boobing" instead of "booing" yet?

Generally speaking I do need AI boosters to understand that I’ve lost my career and future plans entirely to AI-based cost cutting. so any time you’re talking about tech you have to understand people whose livelihoods were destroyed by a thing they didn’t choose to adopt they’re gonna be prickly lol

Got dolled up a bit to go out to a show last night - PIG, which felt "big" for the venue. Good time overall

Sublogic Flight Simulator II for the Apple II - I just got so hooked, spent so many hours in it, stuck with flight simulators for so long until they stopped being The Hot Game Genre.

Yiiiikes I kind of hate how dysphoria just kinda sneaks up on me. New psych meds mean I'm more able to make progress on stuff and that's great! But I just realized that I haven't looked in a mirror in almost a week.

Interesting question; I'm reading Proxy now (I think it was you that linked it a while back) and it feels like a good opportunity for interesting RP. Another one that seems fascinating is Realis, if you've come across it.

I think when/if we meet in person there will be a lot of talking, but I also imagine TTRPG sesh would be a hoot, combined with good food.

You know, I don't remember if I got all the way through it, in my copious spare time I should do that.

I didn't have patience to read through all of that, but you know when I have to walk around on a day to day basis feeling my body being wrong... lol nah, I already would have if I could have swung it, and am some days at seriously contemplating a DIY attempt.

Price highly varies with cleverness and ability to scavenge from junkyards. Or if you look in the right places, you can find someone else's almost completed locost. 🤣

Hmmm. My mug is still a matter of future potential... but probably going to make a pseudo-mocha with chocolate whey protein, as I do.

OK I find it hilarious the extent to which I got hooked on FFXIV - something something glamor is the true endgame

spiderman should be a poly lesbian not bc she should be in multiple healthy relationships at once but because true to canon Spidey should be fumbling all the time and being poly means she can fumble a relationship with MJ, Felicia, and Gwen at the same time

I hope so; a lot of the stuff about Crowley's return to the race left a bad taste in my mouth. Will vote for him anyway.
