Solidarity is the way. I don't really bike but if I don't fight for bike lanes, and the mayor gets his way, what happens when he wants to cut the next thing, and the next thing after that? If you give in on one fight you're signalling you will cave on any fight. Resistance means standing together.

Yeah no shit, if you plan for cars you get cars and if you get cars you get congestion and Halifax fucking loves cars. We're spending $150 million on a 900-meter car lane we love em so much. I'm just glad to see Halifax planning rewarded with a bronze medal.
