The @dfg.de has approved the establishment of the research training group RTG 3123 “BioBuild – Bio-inspired Materials and Systems. It is one of two new RTGs at @uni-freiburg.de. Sensors allow soft #robots to interact with their environment. These #sensors often rely on electronic components, which increases the systems complexity and reduces robustness. Falk Tauber and his team at #livMatS developed a #3D-printed, electronics-free sensory system for a #SoftRobot. (1/2)
