#xivwomenweek day 5- Shadowbringers "Let's drink!" KInd of a "what if" piece where Giott and Lamitt meet. Had a blast with healer quests and Giott's drunken ass xD #ffxiv #ffxivart #FF14

Giott on the left holding a full jug of alcohol and looking very happy, while Lamitt on the right is timidly holding her own jug, looking at Giott.

Happy Birthday, Kamisato Ayaka! #GenshinImpact #KamisatoAyaka Please forgive me. I got a little held up while getting ready. You don't often see me with my hair down, do you? Usually, I would make sure everything was in order before seeing anyone.

If people are genuinely mad that a game *checks notes* incorporated the newest tech from Nvidia (to essentially remake Hey You, Pikachu! but x 300+ btw), they’re a fucking idiot. Nvidia is the gpu market leader - all games incorporate their newest stuff. Quit gaming right now if this bothers you.

copyright aside, why would you even want to share a name with something so big and well known like GTA i can’t imagine that is anything but harmful to your brand

Skye @littledeer.space · 21/09/2026

Tbh too I am not like 100% opposed to even paying for cosmetic gachas in moderation -- I've done so in both Fragpunk, Heartopia, and Milliastra. I just think it'll hurt a lot more in a game that is trying to be Animal Crossing to lock all non-generic outfits+decor into $200+ purchases.

110

Skye @littledeer.space · 21/09/2026

For me cosmetics are very important, i generally prefer them to like characters or such. But in an Animal Crossing clone especially, decorating and dress-up are like highkey the gameplay. If I just wanted to fish or whatever there’s far better games for that 😅 and eventually you’ll finish the museum

Skye @littledeer.space · 21/09/2026

Seems like it’s like Milliastra & other cosmetic only gachas, paid only zero freebies in dailies or anything. If so, I may not even play this one. It’s what made me quit Heartopia. I know it’s the norm for cosmetic gachas but it’s a shit norm.

decided this wasn't worth it like 2 minutes in but sunk cost fallacy tbh kamioshi is empty because my kamioshi (Coni Confetti) graduated & went to the place I will not follow (Tw*tch.tv) and I think the spot is now contested between Fuwamoco, Pippa, and Nitya Nil. Idk. I can't choose so I won't lol

Perfect couple of posts summarising the Wolverine / AAA space.

User @nisei_yoshimi posted on X:

time was if you wanted a wolverine game you called up acclaim or etc and they gave it to some lads from scunthorpe named like Galactic Visions who would code a 6/10 third person action game for PS2 xbox and gamecube in ten months. and it would cost about £500 and a few curries

Follow up post by @nisei_yoahimi:

developing a 6/10 wolverine game in 2004: uh we thought if we did like tomb raider but a bit of devil may cry combat it'd be well fun innit

developing a 6/10 wolverine game in 2026: the company has my children. I have not left the office in months. Take this note to the authori

The CoDM x Honkai event clearly has a lot of love and attention put into it. Great menus, use of the SFX and stuff. I don’t know why the mini game is just Vampire Survivors but it’s not a bad rendition of it. It looks like a hell of a grind to get all the free stuff. #CoDM #HI3

I do! I have my apple calendar synced to it, so it’s just a more enjoyable way for me to look at my upcoming events in a nintendo skin with occasional announcements. I wish they’d let me create events natively so I don’t have to open my general calendar to do so
