Someone said the latest trend is to ask ChatGPT to make me a tarot card based on what you know about me. This is shockingly accurate.

Changelog 0007: Branches. So you can imbue any git repo that contains `.md` files with Google-Docs-like collaboration features, instantly, by adding a `moment.yml` file to it. But git repos have branches. So this week we decided to support them too. 🧵

I came back from Sync Conf and shocked how many people are building text editors and the struggles they had with yjs. So rather than wait for my cofounder to finish his blog, I’ll just give a quick rundown on what we do for live collab editing.

I’m so in love Taylor’s new album. Melodic hooks, witty lyrics, and sexually mature. So far, Elizabeth Taylor and Actually Romantic is what I’m jamming to right now.

Ok after watching youtu.be/CxVXvFOPIyQ?... I can see how people can distrust science, which is really sad. It is important that scientists and regulators are buffered from for-profit companies so that our society is protected from incentives that is just looking out for profits.

"Pat, why do you carry that ridiculous 600mm lens on long hikes?" Buddy, I can see mountains reflected in the eyes of a trailside pika.

Tighter crop of the same pika, focusing on its head.

An even tighter crop, focusing more on the pika's eye.

I have high hopes for Taylor Swift’s new album. I was not a fan of Tortured Poet’s Department, mostly because the sound felt so similar. But i am excited she is working with different producers, especially world class Swedish producer Max Martin and Shellback.

Every time I work in Docker, I feel like I had amnesia and forgot the magic incantation to make Docker do what I want. Of course in reality, this is not true and I get better/faster every time I do something in it, and always learn (or relearn) something. But doesn’t feel that way when I’m in it.
