- The one with the planet where they take “keep off the grass” VERY seriously - the one where “haha it would be fun y if these cat and snake people ate each other” is the B plot - the one where aliens make Riker want to boink a hologram so they can use Enterprise as a BackBlaze replacement

Losing $80 *billion* while simultaneously arguing that you are vital to work, society, and everything else you touch is the most White Man as Corporation thing ever

Yes, that's what I meant lmao..... I actually started with "The Eleventh Hour" at the recommendation of a friend and simultaneously watched the Matt Smith era while also backfilling S1-4. Very Tenet of me...

I had JUST started watching the show in late 2022, and I managed to plow through 7 seasons just in time to see "The Day of the Doctor" I didn't realize "Deep Breath" was shown in theaters as well! Would have loved to have seen that.

Suddenly grumpy about how Doctor Who was big enough in 2013 that this special was shown in theaters. Then Disney bought the distribution rights 9 years later. And now it's effectively dead.

The best part about having a VW Beetle is driving past a group of kids and watching them punch each other.

There are mountains of things to talk shit about Trump for. Why are we participating in “oooh, what if he’s…*gay*” discourse?

Yeah that’s the part that gets tough for me. III is just so inconsistent for me while I found Solo to be fun the whole way through (way more than I expected)

Carl @listeningtofilm.net · 18/10/2026

I love this! With drives me up the wall because there is stuff in there that is SO MUCH BETTER than anything else in the sequel trilogy and then other bits (mainly the last 10 minutes or so) that just…ughhhhh (for me anyway).
