uhoh this is going to be the unexpected issue with moving to bluesky- we're not constantly awash in things to react to and opine on lol

yeah I still am not sure lol. even in cases where I know like "what I would do if alone" or even "what I would prefer to do rn" those things feel bad like just for a concrete example, not looking at someone who is talking (or looking around/elsewhere) is always going to seem inattentive or rude

the concept of "unmasking" is kinda fascinating to me rn like I am now really aware of all the things I do that are effortful/exhausting and feel explicitly controlled but can't get rid of the idea that I have some kind of moral obligation to do them anyway

there aren't really solid norms online for a lot of things like I will often notice e.g. from post tone if someone is depressed, or having a hard time, or if a couple is thinking about getting engaged, etc irl there are like norms for the kinds of things you can bring up with people but idk here
