Yet he borrows money against his assets (his stock portfolio) so he doesn’t draw an income & doesn’t have to pay income tax. Yet I who earned with great difficulty 220k had to pay 38k for federal taxes, & 14k NJ state taxes. I pay my own medical ins. My premium monthly payments are $1686.50/month

Don't forget: my old Yale Law classmate Clarence Thomas refused to recuse from Jan. 6 cases despite his wife's involvement in the plot. And he's taken at least 100 gifts worth over $2 million while serving, including from GOP donor Harlan Crow. He's a disgrace to the Court.

Yeah that hurts. 30% for short term trading gains. I try & look at it as a glass half full, & that it was a gain & not a loss. The wealthy get to keep most of their gains by tax advantages. Idk if you followed some of the thread, I really felt like I was back in school
