Baryonyx was a large Cretaceous era spinosaurid theropod. Named for its large claw on the first finger. Baryonyx had an elongated slender snout that converges on animals that eat fish such as Herons & Gharials. Many spinosaurs also had cranial crests for sexual display.

A large species of ziphosuchian crocodyliform from Jurassic Madagascar. Very few remains are known other than material on the snout and teeth as such the rest of the of the model remains speculative.

A large bipedal sauropodomorph from the late Triassic. An ancestor of the large sauropods that would eventually become the largest land animals. Plateosaurus stood on its hind limbs freeing the use of its forelimbs for feeding or defense.

An endocerid cephalopod from the Ordovician. Like other endocerids, it was much closer related to the nautilus than to squid or octopus. It was an orthocone meaning its shell was straight and pointed.

A stout pterosaur that lived during the early Cretaceous. Dsungaripterus had several adaptations for a durophagous diet such as an upturned beak to precisely grab objects and rounded dome teeth in the back of the jaws to break them open.

One of the largest snakes to have existed, certainly the heaviest with a length of ~45ft(~14m) and weights reaching a ton. Titanoboa lived during the Paleocene in South America with other very large reptiles.

A large theropod dinosaur that lived during the Cretaceous. One of the best known ornithomimids while also being the largest that we know of approaching lengths of 20ft (6m) & 800-1000lbs (400-500 kg). Gallimimus would've been quite cursorial reaching estimated speeds of ~32mph (50km/h).

An asaphid trilobite that lived during the Ordovician period in North America. I.rex is currently the largest known trilobite with lengths over 28in (70cm). As an adult I.rex was a benthic predator that fed on soft bodied animals. Isotelus larvae were planktonic and took a long time to mature.

A striking sphenacodontid synapsid that roamed the early Permian period. Closer related to all mammals instead of dinosaurs despite the reptilian appearance and characteristics. D. grandis grew to 10ft (~3m) and could weigh ~500 lbs (~250 kg).

The Woolly Rhinoceros lived during the Pleistocene in northern Eurasia. It had a brown shaggy coat to help it survive against freezing temperatures and 2 horns. At the end of the Pleistocene, Woolly Rhinos and other ice age megafauna became extinct due to humans and/or climate change.

A species of trilobite that lived from the Ordovician to the Silurian periods that were equipped with 3 long spines sprouting from the cephalon. Different species of Ampyx have been found fossilized in groups that march in the same direction.

A species of lion-sized scimitar toothed cats from the Pliocene to the Pleistocene. It possessed longer fangs than extant big cats but not as big as the ones Smilodon carried. A mummified cub shows that it would've had a dark brown coat.

A late cretaceous dinosaur with a history of being portrayed as an egg thief instead of a good parent. A relatively small theropod with a crest and an interesting beak shape. Recent studies suggest a frugivore diet with a helping of small critters on the side.
