I found a new local card shop that doesn't upcharge any of their singles (they sell at TCGPlayer market value) so I got myself a few more. Some are for deck building and some are just for funsies. Little early birthday treat.

[walks in late to share a snippet for #WIPSnips.] I feel like I've been posting parts of this conversation a lot lately, haha. But it's one of the most intriguing parts of chapter one!

Bell fished out her phone to flip through her contacts. If she wanted to talk, it’d have to be with him.

“Oh no,” the voice on the other end said after picking up almost immediately. “Why are you calling me? Aren’t you supposed to be out with your girlfriend?”

He spoke in Banmal, and Bell returned the familiarity in kind as she said, “I think you already know.”

“You eat her memories?” the man asked.

“Of course I did.” Bell brought the drink to her lips again and swallowed the urge to sigh. “I had to.”

“You could’ve just eaten *her.*”

“Key!” Bell hissed, scanning the bar for curious eyes. Unnecessarily, perhaps. Of course no one was paying attention to them. “You *know* I don’t do that.”

“Come on,” Key drawled. “It’s been what? Thirty years? Surely you’re feeling—“

“We’re not talking about this, Hyeon-ju.” Bell’s voice was firm. “I didn’t call you to talk about this.”

Key’s resignation came through like static. “Right, sorry. Do you want me to come pick you up? We can go to the Smiling Shojo.”

“No,” Bell mumbled. “I don’t want to run into Reg. Besides, I’m already at the Sinking Ship.”

Another thought occurred to Tae then. He glanced down at his guitar, then back at Key, swallowing a lump forming in his throat. "Have you... killed anyone?"

Key smirked, a sharp expression that darkened his eyes. He offered no answer, only strummed his guitar some more. That in itself was answer enough.

Bell sighed so hard their shoulders sagged. "Your jealousy is getting the better of you again."

Key bristled at that and his frown deepened, but he continued to avoid eye contact. "I'm not jealous."

"You are," Bell countered. "You always are. Why can't you just be happy for me? You know, like a best friend should be?"

"Because I love you, A-yeong!" Key shouted, jerking up and slamming his fists on the table, making Bell startle. "Do you know how hard it is to watch you love everyone but me?"

8. My main writing space is this desk in my office. I have 2 desks, the other being for analog activities. As you can see, I have a lot of desk decorations haha. I have 2 large screens for plenty of work space, and an Aula F99 keyboard for the good click-clacks. I spend hours a week here.

Not any updated ones, sadly. The best I have right now is Láz's 2024 reference. While being very expensive, it's very utilitarian in design so not much in the way of fancy details. Though it does have rainbow sparkles due to the crystal dust.

My newest character is Key in BYMMS. He was the last of the main cast to be created and hadn't originally been planned, but worked out well. He's about a year old now so I feel like he's pretty established. I've grown rather attached to him haha. Can't imagine BYMMS without him. #AwesomeCharacters
