Speed run done for today. Speed … I know still slow af. But yeah doing what I can for now. Endurance is the goal. I’ll work on speed later in my journey.

You know, if you *really* cared about the wellbeing of women in college, instead of carping about the statistically insignificant number of trans athletes in sports minding their own business, you’d be railing against these Cornell fraternity cretins who drugged and gang-raped a passed-out women:

Day 8 Finally managed to get a run done was super careful not to slip as there were puddles, leaves, branches along the Khlong. But happy I did it.

I should be able to add notes like “I’m slow af. Even more because of puddles etc”

Oh FB memories pulling my heart strings with these pics of Fellini I posted 16 years ago. Been a week since he’s been gone. Miss him so much. Keep seeing him in his usual spots …

Hear the rain stopping. “Oh I might have a chance to run for an hour” Quickly gets changed. 3 minutes later (Sound on)

Urghhhh the rain is messing up with my training plan. Woke up really wanting to do my long run and it is still raining hard. Absolutely crazy weather … thinking of those who actually are affected by it.

Between the heat around April-June, and the floods during rainy season, seriously considering buying a treadmill or moving to a condo with a gym …

Day 5. I’m okay to run in rain if I’m already out there. But it’s been downright pouring for an hour … Anyway. Replacing my small recovery run by 30 minutes core workout.

So happy for her! She's so damn talented!

Day 4. Speed run on a rain soaked field, so slower than what I was planning on. Just trying not to slip and/or get wet. Air is fresher too which feels nice.

Big puddles of rain on the university field.

Intervals pace. Much slower than I wanted but trying not to twist an ankle by slipping in water.

Got a stylus for Sasha’s old iPad. She started creating a notebook, researching and annotating organs and body parts diagram. They are not not studying this in class. Have no idea where that comes from but I like that.

Day 2 of half marathon training. 15 minutes recovery run. Went well. Not worrying about pace or anything, just finding the enjoyment again. And it feels good.

15 minutes recovery run map. A change of route but there’s a whole portion with cars. Thought that at that time it would be super calm but there’s was enough cars to feel the gaz from the exhausts and to be extra careful not to be hit by one.

My stats. Nothing glorious but hey, it’s a recovery run.

Sitting on a bench crying. Had to stop my easy recovery run because I just couldn’t see what I was doing and couldn’t breathe. But hey … started my half marathon training. At least that.

Going for a run but dreading to get out of the room and not be greeted by Fellini, meowing until he gets his morning bowl of kibbles. 💔

We got quite scared yesterday. But Felli is ok this morning.

Fellini the Maine Coon, looking much better, walking almost normally.

Sleeping in the living room tonight. Old Fellini doesn’t seem well. Just hope it’s a false alarm nd he’s just a bit tired. He’s 16. So I’m prepared. Not ready. But prepared.

16 yo Fellini. My beautiful and most gentle Maine Coon. Has not been great today.
