Yesterday I completed my first “traverse” of Mts Willey, Tom, and Field (plus Avalon), or what some call the WTF Traverse. I get it now. Got to enjoy a new thrill: finishing in the dark with a headlamp. Walked out of the woods and saw the lights over Mt Washington.
