Dear researchers who are interested in pre-modern Japan, NDL's OCR, now released, can read kuzushi-ji characters with such accuracy, despite the fact that it can be easily operated on a PC with a GUI. Please try it! github.com/ndl-lab/ndlk... The OCR result of the beginning of The Tale of Genji:
