Someone asked what my #challengeday is. It’s when I tackle something on the edge of doable. When you see someone struggling to their finish line, never say "give up." Offer help or encouragement. If you can’t support them, get out of their way. Discouragement injures the soul.

#EverydayEngineering No metal posts to be had, so this is my temporary fix so @tuxramus.bsky.social can get Starlink up and then get a metal post later. Heavy duty PVC with another one inside wrapped in duct tape to increase rigidity.

The good Cap'n is a Macrodiae. In 400 yrs we will take red kangaroos then add human, tardigrade, and rhino DNA to create a genetically altered Red Kangaroo that will be about twice as big and tough. They can speak and have complete intelligence. Sam actually doesn't realize he is a Macrodiae.

#cooking A rooster tried to take out an old lady dozens of times. It probably would have made a spectacular wild chicken. I offered to "rehome" the chicken into my freezer and the old lady was incredibly grateful. After all night slow cooking, I'll get 5 meals out of one badly behaved bird!

This was not "winning." "Winning" would be my LGBTQ+ neighbor could feel safe coming out of his house, the local small market wouldn't have to apologize for not carrying eggs, and my local Veteran clinic wouldn't all be sweating bullets wondering who's gonna be next on the chopping block.
