Someone asked what my #challengeday is. It’s when I tackle something on the edge of doable. When you see someone struggling to their finish line, never say "give up." Offer help or encouragement. If you can’t support them, get out of their way. Discouragement injures the soul.

#EverydayEngineering No metal posts to be had, so this is my temporary fix so @tuxramus.bsky.social can get Starlink up and then get a metal post later. Heavy duty PVC with another one inside wrapped in duct tape to increase rigidity.

When you need to be awake, aware, and ready to go the next morning, go Virgin. After one beer and a baileys, I had a virgin JD&coke, a virgin martini, and a virgin margarita. Adroit instructions to a bartender helps you celebrate without drunken friends insisting you "have another"! #Protip #drinks

Yes. #AI is not the problem. We as humans need to learn how to think. We can all get mixed up when emotions are involved, but when we stop to reason out the problem, or have a friend who can point out options, we can clutch a bit less to "miracles." www.youtube.com/watch?v=pd1K...

My new life in #Bulgaria is so good. I love it here. Good food, places to be, new inspirations. I am productive and happy. I WILL have to go back to the US briefly to get my new German passport. Then it's straight back here to enjoy! :)

I shall share no tribute and no fond farewell to the pope who reigned over a completely corrupt system of abuse and bigotry. Don't let the door hit you on the way out because I don't want to clean the door.

This jumpscare brought to you by...me. It was entirely my fault. I put Bones out of the way this afternoon and forgot about him until I went past the recording room to bed. : facepalm:

#3dprinting #succulents both pots turned out lovely, though the beige pot on the left had far less stringing and better points on top. I love that I have a matching set for my succulents!

#bonsai #3dprinting Got this pot printed last night. Tidied it up and put a Scots pine in it. For once, I am happy with my design work. :D It's well watered and back down in the yard now. Hopefully it survives the torture of the root trim process! :D

#cooking A rooster tried to take out an old lady dozens of times. It probably would have made a spectacular wild chicken. I offered to "rehome" the chicken into my freezer and the old lady was incredibly grateful. After all night slow cooking, I'll get 5 meals out of one badly behaved bird!

By the light of the moon, we gather. For food, for friendship, for a picture. Our neighbor graces our gatherings with a soft, memorable presence. When you see the moon, remember the hugs, the words, the acceptance, and the love that goes with it all.

Okay, I'm a little freaked out. My financial luck has been so good today I am a little afraid to touch anything in case I break it. Brought my car in for sensor replacement, they didn't charge me. Replaced my auto insurance and it was half of what I was paying. This is scary good.

For everyone in #coosbay #Oregon You will want to avoid #walmart for a few days. They're redoing floors and it is a complete shitshow in there. It's loud, you can't get to anything and they're out of everything you CAN get to. We should just let them do their job and stay the fuck out of the way.

#writing #tidbits Induction reasoning takes specific facts and makes a general conclusion. Deductive reasoning takes a general premise and draws a specific conclusion from them. If here are 206 bones found every time you examine human bodies, what conclusion could you draw? What reasoning is it?
