It’s not just Spotify where @poetsofthefall.bsky.social tops my music chart! Amazon Music and Tidal are the same. Big shoutout of thanks to @samlakewrites.bsky.social and @remedygames.com for introducing me to this incredible band! Looking forward to seeing them live in Helsinki in September!

Okay … if this really is Marko from @poetsofthefall.bsky.social then I might have squee’d just a little bit while reading Facebook notifications. If it isn’t him, I saw a mouse. 🐁

Living in a country that makes me grit my teeth harder everyday due to the mounting darkness of it all, it’s nice to know I can come home and lose myself in the beautiful vocals and music of @poetsofthefall.bsky.social - no one does it better than Marko and Ollie. Thanks guys for the hope & peace!

Life’s short - collect all the signed @poetsofthefall.bsky.social vinyl while you can! I think at this point I’m just missing three titles and I’m not sure I’ve seen them available where I can get my hands on them. Yet!

Thank you to California Senator @senatoradamschiff.bsky.social for saying exactly what I have been thinking. "This is not who we are, this is not who we are. We do not bully an ally. We don't take the side of a dictator." We are better than this - at least we used to be.

Kudos and cheers to the National Park Rangers who hung a sign of distress from the heights of El Capitan at Yosemite National Park! I think we all need to join in solidarity and start hanging our flags upside down until something is done to stop this insanity.

I've told this story before, but I remember explaining "non-binary" to my 70-year-old dad who'd never heard the term and was unfamiliar with the idea. He considered a moment, then said "good for them. You get to decide who you are, no one else."

The obsession continues! I don’t even own a turntable but I now own a signed #poetsofthefall “Clearview” vinyl. 🥰 Favorite songs from this one include Drama for Life, The Game and Shadow Play. Now to somehow get the rest of their discography signed! #markosaaresto #olliet #signedvinyl #finnishrock

I tried listening to my formerly-until-November-5th-happened Alexa morning briefing today and just couldn’t finish it upon hearing that such brilliant luminaries as Dr. Mehmet Oz and Linda McMahon were selected for what had heretofore been pretty damn important cabinet posts. My god. I just can’t.

gh0st’s m0m @lindaoski.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

Excellent advice for everyone I know and love who is reeling and will continue to reel from November 5th. Don’t allow the hatred and stupidity of others to ruin your world. Take it back one step, one moment at a time and remember that those of us who truly know and love you still have your back.
