it's a great practice. the first two, longevity and perceptual cleanness, are probably the main benefits, since IFRA, which sets the fragrance industry's safety standards, is already pretty draconian about what can go into perfume

my main perfume tip, i think, would be to spritz directly on your clothing. it lasts longer, gives a "cleaner" aromatic profile, and minimizes the risk of phototoxicity
