Kind of surprised they haven't come across a corpse in the walls yet.

The remains of Ye Olde Citee Halle in Alexandria, VA. The one remaining chimney is actually a structure from the previous building on the site, a series of stills that were used to make corn whiskey and moonshine powerful enough to blind a dozen men. Rumor has it that they kept one still in the basement of the city hall so councilmembers could get plastered on bathtub mint juleps after meetings.

It's crab week at CHIKO, so we stopped off in Shirlington for the crabbiest crab rangoon that ever rangoon'd. It ends tomorrow if you have a Mighty Need.

They're nonfunctional and were added to the building back in the 60s, but the real consternation over them was with the approvals over the renovation. The BAR wanted to keep them despite not being original to the building, and the city council ignored that.

They are hosing down parts of the Donald J Trump Memorial Algae Preserve, for reasons that are probably related to grifting the American taxpayer. The very west end of the pool has some depth to it and has always had a bit of water left there, which is currently filled with glorious green algae.
