you could even get fancy and use both the leap motion and the webcam and blend the tracking together if for some reason you wanted to be super extra for some reason lol but yeah, gen 2 leap motion is probably the best non glove solution

the first point is probably possible but im not at my computer to check second, leap motion is great if you can get one. the company closed up shop. webcam hand tracking works pretty well. vnyan has built in webcam hand tracking or you can use something like XRAnimator to VMC over tracking data
