i am literally so busy and tired, people emailing me and calling and texting me or showing up at the door like every 20 minutes today and more than half of that is NOT spam i am losing my mind

is there a way to remove the alt-text caption when you click on a photo on here? sometimes they literally get in the way of the photo and nothing works. usually on other sites/apps you tap the photo and the caption slides away

there is a nuthatch living in a nearby canyon and i can HEAR it but i can't SEE it and i'm sad!! good news though i heard my first white crowned sparrow of the season! they're back baby

i get so indignant when a crossword puzzle clue is 'furry friends' and the answer is 'pets'. that's a whole diverse category!! brb making a clue that says "edible pods" and the answer is "vegetables"

So I think I kinda screwed myself in animal crossing new leaf bc back in 2013 I somehow made it so my town was 12 hours ahead of my system clock, so now the king salmon which is only out from 5-7 pm is at my 5-7 am… I’m not waking up for that…

Gotta be honest love playing me some old games but I don’t know the last time I played a current AAA game as a part of the zeitgeist. Ffxiv doesn’t count bc I’m back in stormblood because it’s free. It’s a little bit lonely and by the time I get to things I’ve been spoiled just via exposure.

?? Turned on my ps3 for the first time in 10 years and I noticed I have chrono cross installed but also a chrono cross I have yet to install? Huh??

Man if you are fed up with Windows’s photos app’s slowness and lack of features I gotta recommend IrfanView. So fast and lightweight and has a ton of editing operations. Have had it on my desktop for so long I forgot how clunky Photos is

??? I’ve been using pcpartpicker but wanted to be more rigorous so i changed to referencing my MB’s compatibility from the manufacturer, but how strict is it? I see a number of ssds whose series are compatible but not the storage size I want? Like it’ll list the 1,2 TB and 510 GB drives but not the

I’ve been avoiding getting caran d’ache neocolor ii crayons bc I didn’t want to buy them and never use them but I’ve been thinking about them for years at this point and know what problems they’d solve for me so I think I’m gonna do it.

Exposure therapy isn't just "I'm gonna make you do a thing because you should get used to it". It's like actually a gradual and carefully planned therapy. You wouldn't teach a child math by making them do algebra first--it's similar. The person has to have confidence about the step they're on.

Ugh I just remembered a few days ago I was in the middle lane stopped at a stoplight behind this car when the driver dropped an empty monster can out of the window into the street. I couldn’t believe it. I almost followed them to cuss them out.

Hey folks now is an awesome time to buy some of my prints because I am having to pay some huge bills after my dad passed while I don’t have an income. I’d love to just buy myself some treats or fix my computer but all my savings are earmarked for bills right now 😭 www.inprnt.com/gallery/life...

Yesterday was my first day this week without a headache, but I just had to move the trash bins full of grass clippings because the normal trash bin was so far back behind them I couldn’t throw away household trash and now my neck hurts… hate how stupid this all is

Something that frustrates me about fgo’s writing or perhaps translation is the sweeping statements about how people/humans are or act. Yesterday a character said humans are the only sapient beings on earth (there’s others in the story) who purposefully continue an action they know is futile.

I think a wasp got in the house but I can’t look for it in the rafters because it hurts my neck to look up and I’ve already had 3 days of headaches so far this week 😰 I think my necks already hurting from the amount I did look for it today…

So Midnight Star and Pretty Tony both released songs in 1983 that include the phrase “fix it in the mix”— since the midnight star one is just one prominent line I assumed it referenced pretty tony’s song literally called fix it in the mix but I think it’s just coincidental? Anyone know?
