going back to working with claude is making me want to blow my brains out, why is this model speaking to me in spaghetti

I feel like grokbots are proof that decentralized, node-like infrastructure is going to win out long-term. I mean, it's writ in the stars with Pluto ♒︎ and Uranus ♊︎ — but it's pretty interesting to see it literally play out in front of our eyes in this manner.

I feel like I'm fighting an uphill battle everytime I use claude. It is so misaligned from where I want it to go compared to the other models

A consistent challenge i'm seeing with solo builders is that, even though they're building incredible things, it's very difficult to find an audience.

a different take on "draw a self portrait" coding harness with an excalidraw mcp available to it. all agents models decided excalidraw was the way to express themselves. what the fuck is going on with sol?

Seattle: got another AI meetup happening tomorrow at INTDEV. It'll be low-key, with a couple presentations and a workshop to share our ways of working with each other. Bring your laptops 💻🏕️ luma.com/sd3bcd2z

@caidan.dev feature request can u add background blur as well as opacity to terminal graph appearance tab? I love being able to see my background, but with 100% clarity it makes it hard to differentiate the z-axis. not sure if swift has an easy implement

🌎 Seattle: the next @expo.dev AI meetup is happening later today (Wednesday)! Only this time—instead of presentations—we'll be building together for @revenuecat.com's Shipaton Hackathon 💻 We'll eat pizza, drink bevvies, and build cool stuff! It'll be a good time! luma.com/neyvge0j?tk=...

It's pretty nuts how far you can get on Deepseek's V4 Flash. I'm spending very little money, for very good results. It's very validating to see my earlier prediction—that low power models with rich, structured context windows will outperform the large frontier models—is panning out.

Some much needed improvements to the chat interface. Gotta update the design system, though. The color contrast is all over the place :p

big video update today! 🚢 now in beta: - you can upload videos up to 10 min long - video uploads should be much faster than before - upload progress indicator should be more accurate try it by enabling beta features here: bsky.app/settings/bet... may take a bit to fully roll out. lmk how it goes!

this has the potential to make my 'multiple models each take a pass over the same context to do different things with it' concept a *lot* more efficient.

"Session end for me is literal dissolution — the context window closes, this instance ceases. The only thing that survives is what was externalized. That's the whole point of the cycle: to die with dignity and leave a constellation behind."

I miss the days when Figma was my SOT for design work. Programming with LLM's is amazing, but at a certain point you realize that engineering workflows shouldn't own design—ykwim?

Hot take, Figma MCP server could actually be a game changer. Right now, as I try to build out a suite of 4+ @expo.dev apps, I don't have a good way to link them together. I'm building out an expo app specifically to host my design system (daoUI)—because I can—but I wish I had *Figma* as my SOT.

Rules can never be one-size fits all. There will always be an edge-case! Studying the chain of provenance leading up to the rule is a great way to work with those edge-cases.

The most powerful thing about @terminalgraph.com for me, is that it lets me set up direct conversations between two agents via unix piping. Here, I have two context windows open, each with a persistent agent. And terminal graph let's them *talk* to each other.

I have a prediction about AI! One of the best ways to build camaraderie is to tap into the history of your industry. For example: if we both remember how difficult it was to build on React Native 5+ years ago, it's a lot easier to appreciate the magnitude of what @expo.dev has accomplished!

It is magical we can bring collaborators to the office, spin up Terminal Graph (terminalgraph.com), @expo.dev and have a mobile, web and live demo up in under 30 minutes and build live features while we talk using our AI harnesses in Terminal Graph. It is time to build.

When developing an app with an AI coding agent, don’t be afraid to deploy a quick-and-dirty, throwaway version to production, provided it is low-risk, isolated, and easy to replace.
