Another rickety old monster for #repostober

illustration of an erinye, a monster with four clawed limbs, long wings an tail, and the head of a vulture on a long neck. it has long straggly hair growing on its neck, though its head is bald, and small teeth growing in it beak. its skin is pale and spotted with straggly feathers. its visible hand shows an abnormality with one finger branging into two nails. it is crawling down over sewaweed-covered rocks to drink salt water.

Older art I still like - St. Kilda

A digital painting of a great auk based on a taxidermied specimen. Her head has been replaced with a floating auk skull , and the skull has been wrapped around with fishing line - a hook dangles towards the water. The background is of foggy islands and an empty coastline.

Piece was inspired by the story of the Witch of St Kilda, which illustrates the extinction of the species, the last one of this island dying suspected of witchcraft.

Took these photos of my personal #fursuit last year, but never shared anywhere. Been working on it on/off for YEARS whenever I've had the time, slowly improving things here and there. Hope to add some airbrushed details at some point!

you were laughing at the shadows in the rearview now you're wondering how the hell they got so near you

Digitally colored illustration of an anthropomorphic jackal boy just beginning to tip over a rocky ledge of unknown height. Accidental or intentional? You decide.

It's a weird feeling to use a public social media account, as opposed to a private one. Then again, it's fun to be able to interact with peeps, especially potential m00ts. Mind-blowing, really. Social media can be like this? :0

Went to see this 400-year-old pine (Pinus sylvestris) recently, Timin mänty, or "The Pine of Timi". Oldest in the region, it is believed to have been a site for pagan worship for ages, despite the influence of Christianity in Finland.

Came across some furry artwork in 2001 or so, been drawing and uploading my own stuff to the interwebz since 2002. VCL was awesome! Used to hang out a lot in Furnet IRC, too.

First post, with some art! A conbadge for Wilikki, first thing I've completed in a long, long while! Drawing and painting feel a bit weird after such a long break. Tried some new things here though, like various inks for the background...
