This buffoon broke into a kitchen drawer while we were at work, extracted the manual for the new microwave, removed the plastic wrapping, and neatly chewed off the corners of the plastic. He does this kind of thing, and our vet is not overly concerned, but COME ON, MAN.

Everybody look at the cool butterfly I found hanging out in my coneflowers with a native sweat bee! I've barely watered my native pollinator plants even in this drought, and they still bring all the bugs to my yard!

Every time I order something from The Broken Circle and @mostlybree.kitrocha.com I forget about the Little Guys. And then I open the box and am greeted by Little Guys and make undignified noises at work.

I covered the reference for 3 hours this morning, getting yelled at just so much, with my cuff buttoned like this. How are you gonna be mean to someone who can't even dress themself???

I learned from your posts to always check my globemallow for bees and I am almost always rewarded! This one wasn't green (they prefer other plants) but it WAS tiny and native.

This sunflower got knocked over and I thought it was toast, but it went ahead and kept blooming anyway. The metaphor feels a little heavy-handed, honestly.

They are the actual best company during long, boring meetings. Sometimes they pose on the freshly manicured sand and make my officemate jealous.
