I don't know how I managed to even finish 2 books this month. The DNFs have been rolling in hard and fast 😬 #bookish #octobertbr

September has been a terrible book month. Haven't finished a single story and dnfed more than I can count. At least my tbr is officially under a 100 now. #booksky #dnf #tbrlist #reading #books #reader

Retroactively negating my read and rating of Binti given the author's recent anti-indigenous remarks and behavior. So vile. Will not be supporting or reading any of their work in the future.

I've been feeling cozy fantasy romance and rom-com alien romance lately. Keeping it light and fantastical, basically.

FYI when we say ‘ugh where did summer go/how is it still raining/oh such a shame it’s grey today’ We really mean ‘what a great excuse to cancel plans/reading to the sound of rain is so cosy/can’t wait to get home to my book’ 🤗

You are allowed to read a book because you want to. You are allowed to put a book down because it's not working for you. You are allowed to try it again later and succumb to its charms. You're also allowed to never look at it again, or happily donate it in the hopes that it finds a better home.

Decided to go with Paladin's Grace by T. Kingfisher and the fact that this MMC knits socks!!! I've made the right decision 😌

The stylist that put Pedro Pascal in that black sleeveless top at Cannes legit needs to be given an award. Absolute genius 👏🏼 (Also, when I say I mentally recast every MMC in novels to be Pedro Pascal - that outfit is why.) #booksky #menwrittenbywomen

I'm not feeling the 2nd book in Ursa Dax rancher series. Maybe only 1 Cowboy Alien book at a time is the way to go when palate cleansing 😆 #reader #booksky #scifiromance

Finished it, and it's as expected 😅 Campy, fast, and oddly sweet. Not a whole lot of depth character or plot wise, but good as a light palate cleanser.
