Just searching the word podium on Google Images.

Because Google is a grift now I don't get images of podiums. In this screenshot I get ads for the nice stands from whence behind one could give a speech such as The Counselor for $4,499 or The New Lectern Podium for $1,395 or part of an image for $51 total so probably not very big.

The Starbucks near my work ditched the comfy chairs at the door so I guess I am seeing the new direction for the company.

The American diner is the last bastion of pure egalitarian with benches connected to the floor and the tables bolted to the wall where the hostess can say Yes Your twenty rich friends want to hang out at 3AM as one group Well either you take up a half dozen spots along the wall or go somewhere else.

A diner booth for four recently vacated, half full glasses and dirty plates remain. The floor is alternating black and white tiles. The booths have those long chains in teal vinyl with a white vinyl triangle pointing down in the middle. A lamp resembling white spinning rhombus hangs from the ceiling. The corners of the walls, edges of the tables and many other random spots are adorned with shiny chrome plating.
