Peace will not be built by denying the rights or humanity of either Palestinians or Israelis. After years of horrific bloodshed, displacement & suffering, the challenge facing all those who want peace is how Palestinians & Israelis can live as equals, with dignity, justice & security. 1/2

How much?! That’s right, Reform has received £72 million from 2 donors in 2 days - more than the combined sum of £69 million given to all UK parties last year! We need a commission to review and set limits on donations. Don’t let them get away with it! Alex Marshall-Lewis, WFLD chair

It’s a fair comment to say they deserve time. Certainly their supporters/ voters will want to give them that. It’s also fair to say that local authorities have been underfunded for too long. My criticism is that the financial constraints were well known and the manifesto was still overly ambitious.

As a social liberal, I’m nothing short of delighted with the commitment six London Councils have made to upholding Trans+ rights. However, the Greens seem to lack a plan to improve Waltham Forest and the financial realities appear to finally be hitting home. open.substack.com/pub/alexmars...

What harms Britain is self-serving, opportunistic politicians like Robert Jenrick whose rhetoric only aims to divide society. His defection only strengthens the need to defeat Reform
