Just turned on the state of the state at 7:10. So far it seems like McKee is really pandering to a particular type of Boomer suburban voter. I’ve seen him so far lead with doing away with Social Security tax and doing away car tax.

Similar to the ongoing argument over the last 10 years “college isn’t worth it and more people should go into the trades.” That is a false choice. It’s not college vs trades. It’s education vs anti-intellectualism. Rich kids go to college. It’s the loans that aren’t worth it, not the education. 🧵
