Last November they dislodged all the parked cars from Hopkins to accommodate the Berkeley Half Marathon. I got to enjoy a psuedo bike lane on Hopkins between Sacramento and California for a couple minutes. The excitement caused me to take positively shit photos of the occasion

Last week I had a chat with an out-of-towner who said "I've never been somewhere with so many yard signs about local issues. The only signs I see in Florida say 'for sale'!" So anyway, want another yard sign? I'll be at Headlands Berkeley from 11am-2pm handing these out on Sunday, June 14. See ya!

It's been about 24 hours since we showed up for Hopkins and I'm still in a good mood. The vibes were immaculate and it was heartwarming to see so many people show up. Over the past 3 years I've felt isolated by the city's inaction on my street. Now I'm surrounded by friends. #BikeSafeBerkeley

Never thought of myself as a Cruise Person but I recently had the best time ever on one. Everything we needed was a 5 minute walk away and we never had to get into a car. We let the kids roam free at times. That kind of Walkable Urbanism is so illegal it can only exist in international waters.
