I'm not exaggerating the gore, btw. I really want to watch this show in full because the concept and horror aspects are really cool, but there are multiple scenes involving children that make wonder if I'm a bad person for watching them. 😭 www.youtube.com/watch?v=6c-w... #MadeInAbyss #manga #anime

"Made in Abyss" is hilarious to me because the anime'll have the most beautiful, atmospheric orchestral music you've ever heard playing over the most disturbing, stomach-turning visuals you've ever seen. #MadeInAbyss #manga #anime

If you have ever read a book to a baby, you will realize it's not a linear experience. The baby wants to turn pages backward, wants to ask questions (if they're old enough), wants to examine the pages and get really excited if they can say "bear!" even if the word "bear!" is not on the page.

I just don't understand this obsession with the DCEU that some people have. Some series don't get to have neat endings. It sucks, but that's reality. If it bothers these people so much, I genuinely believe that they should take up writing DCEU fan fiction. It might actually make them happier.

#wipsnips #writesky #writingcommunity #ream This is basically how the next chapter of Devoted starts, with Amos having another mild crisis. Luckily he immediately gets laid so he doesn't have to think about it for long.

They didn't comment on the room as we entered, but I saw the way their eyes roved over the walls, the furniture. Lingered on the bed. Were they judging me as someone with so little personality he couldn't find anything to make this space his own? Or were they remembering how it had looked when they'd had Brian? Had this room, his room, been turned over so hard no trace of him remained?
Had he lost his virginity in the same bed as I was about to?
To the same two men, who pulled me along with insistent hands until we were at my bed. His bed, our bed. How could I compare to the man they both loved?

Although not officially tracked, multiple sources I found online say the percentage of queer books published in 2025 is only about 4% of all books. According to Bowker (buff.ly/PGTFNDe) 4.2 million books were published in 2025. 4.2M x 4% = 168,000 books. That is ~*WAY*~ too low a number.

Thank you for the shoutout! For anyone interested, I should add it's VERY little MK lore; CotR is mostly a blend of dark fantasy and xianxia with a 99.9% original mythology & characters, so you don't need to know or even like MK. Also, my Ashrah is the best, and you won't find her anywhere else 💪🏽🔥

Full-body digital illustration of Ashrah by Sasha (@sashthesloth.bsky.social). She wears her Bound By Flame outfit, composed of a grey selendang-like garment draped over her left shoulder and arm, pinned in place by a shoulder armour with a Minotaur-like horn melded into it, an orange chest piece, same colour of a sarong-like skirt and gladiator sandals, and golden arm bracers with Infernal symbols representing strength, power, and will engraved onto them. On her right hand, she wields Datusha, her keris-shaped sapient sword, while on her left palm hovers a sphere of the Eternal Flame. She looks straight ahead with a serious expression.

The character has on a long dress with ornate bodice and long puffy sleeves. The character also has a large pulled back hairstyle around their head that twist down into woven braids down their back along with two tubular pointy ogre ears. The character is also surrounded by twisting black flames of stink. The character has shading and crosshatching to show definition in the color of textures, along with the color of the skin and hair. The character is standing in front of a completely white background.
