Rema, many non-commercially available comm skills courses are charitably funded. Lots have no evidence base for efficacy or pedagogical basis. We occasionally run facilitator training courses but these are for specific areas ie issues re genetic testing or metastatic disease. See SHORE-c website

I've decided that when researchers say a treatment is "well tolerated" it actually means "I can tolerate my patients having toxicity" and nothing to do with what the patient thinks. We can only make such a statement if we use patient-reported outcome or experience measures.
