Monty and Tel'arn had a deep, complex, and somewhat toxic relationship right up until the time Tel'arn was killed during the raid on the Nighthold and Montblanc-- then an adult-- was deeply grieved by his death even though Monty himself was on the side of the rebellion.

The TLDR is that Montblanc was born with a unique affinity for druidism. His parents were among the first dissenters against Elisande's rule long before the events of Legion and were killed, leaving Monty an orphan. Tel'arn adopted him to train him in the arcanodruidic arts.

I'm trying to come up with a term for the rank meant to sit just below the Chosen in the Order-- people who aren't quite close enough to the Queen to be considered Chosen, but still play an important role. So far I've got 'Favoured' as an option but I dunno. If anyone has some ideas I'm open to em 🤔

I realise I don't have any art of Monty before his spidery-ness but that's what it would be: pre-spider Monty and Tel'arn 😂

Another classic, not sure if I've already posted this one here.

The image is a six panel black and white comic.

Panel 1 - a girl sits at her desk in front of a computer, looking disheartened. She says, "I dont know if I should post this art, who would even want to see it?"

Panel 2- A new person bursts through the door in the background with a loud BAM

Panel 3- The new person pushes the girl out of the way, smushing her face in the process, while slamming their fist down on the keyboard.

Panel 4- The computer shows that the art has been posted

Panel 5- The person makes direct eye contact with the girl while pushing their finger against their own phone screen

Panel 6- A motion blur is added to the last panel, enhancing the impact of the new notifications on the new post. It reads, "(Friend) Liked Post just now" Followed by "(Friend) commented 'I FUCKING LOVE THIS AND I LOVE U'"

Underneath the last panel is a watermark that reads, Shubbabang

Bitten 🥀🩸 One of my favourite vampire illustrations I’ve painted to start off spooky month! ♥️🦇🩸

My illustration of original characters of a vampire gently holding and biting her beloved victim, who is wearing a beautiful white lace dress. They look like they’re innocently dancing or in a romantic embrace on a moonlit night.

4 panel comic:
Panel 1:
A chef with a wooden spoon talks to a brown dog (bruno). He says “I have a new business!” Bruno answers “cool!”
Panel 2: he shows his menu. He says “this is my menu”. We can’t quite read what it says yet
Panel 3: a zoom in on the menu. It has just a few lines written on it. Soup: 1. Bread: 1. Soup + Bread: 2. He kept it very simple!
Panel 4: He shows Bruno a small pencil. He says “I designed it with this”. Bruno approves and goes “nice!”

CAKE. Montblanc could enjoy the occasional fruit pie but for the most part he is a staunch lover and enjoyer of many forms of cake. In particular he has a fondness for petit fours, which he and his adopted sister used to swipe in bulk from the buffet platters at teatime.

🕷️ 𝑳𝒆𝒚 🕷️ @leyhunter.bsky.social · 18h

Van Helsing 💀I have tried so, SO many times to rewatch it and I can never finish it. It's too... corny? Campy? I don't know, I can't pinpoint why I dislike it so much. This of course comes much to the chagrin of @howliteart.bsky.social who enjoys that film tremendously 😂

420

🕷️ 𝑳𝒆𝒚 🕷️ @leyhunter.bsky.social · 18h

Well, it's not solely Montblanc's knowledge-- the whole of the Order knows its whereabouts: Rosehaven, aka the island Monty and the Order inhabit which cannot be found on any modern map of Azeroth.

100

🕷️ 𝑳𝒆𝒚 🕷️ @leyhunter.bsky.social · 18h

I've answered one like this a few times before but I never get tired of comparing Monty to flowers since he loves them so much. I typically associate Montblanc with orchids because of their wide range of colours and meanings across cultures. In general they represent love, beauty, and fertility.

020

🕷️ 𝑳𝒆𝒚 🕷️ @leyhunter.bsky.social · 18h

Naturally I'm biased and I of course hold up Monty. He's intended to be beautiful at in spite of his mutations, because spiders can be as terrifying as they are enchanting. However, one can't deny that his daughter Claire is perhaps the loveliest of all.

010

🕷️ 𝑳𝒆𝒚 🕷️ @leyhunter.bsky.social · 18h

Montblanc always dreamed of living a quiet, peaceful life as a botanist with his own grand garden. He did at least gain the latter, but it is only a small comfort in the grand scheme of the burden he now bears.

010

🕷️ 𝑳𝒆𝒚 🕷️ @leyhunter.bsky.social · 18h

Absolutely. Montblanc thrives with physical contact and affection; more often than not, he's hanging off of one of his Chosen. Being held and cherished sustains him emotionally.

010

🕷️ 𝑳𝒆𝒚 🕷️ @leyhunter.bsky.social · 18h

Montblanc harbours a quiet desire to relinquish control and authority from time to time and be completely and utterly dominated. Few know of it, and fewer still can truly satisfy it.
