Literally nothing is safe. There was a mod I used to be involved in, and there was a guy that slipped really bad Claude code under everybody's noses. Nobody checked what was committed that day. The funny part was the code was way longer and more convoluted than it needed to be for no reason.

Any new mods for older games, static recompiles, homebrews, everything is just all Claude now. Where the fuck is the fun in that? You're supposed to enjoy making something yourself. You can show off Goldeneye SNES, but if you didn't make it yourself then I don't give a shit. It's meaningless to me.

I just got done making another render, probably the coolest one I've made yet and I don't think I'm going to be posting shit anytime soon because the shadows are just fucking BUTCHERED. please fucking smooth out the eevee shadows again dude jesus christ its hideous

I'm definitely not misremembering, 4.1 on the left, the shadows were made slightly worse 4.2 onward. Why would they change this? What the fuck do they gain? I'm seriously pissed off because I don't even think this can be fixed. I've seen nobody else talk about this either for some reason.

Visibly jagged no matter what I do. I have no memory of 4.1 having this issue. Cycles doesn't have this issue but I don't want to sit around for 40 years waiting for a single render to finish.

Is nobody else fucking pissed off that Blender has just totally fucked shadows sideways in Eevee? They look like shit no matter what I do now. I can't see any fixes for this and it's pissing me off. I don't want to use cycles.
