My thoughts are with all MPs today voting on the issue of assisted dying today, I can say this, if I would elected I’d of voted in favour, I’ve watched three of my grandparents refuse treatments and been given six months to live, suffer in pain because of the lack of AD in this country.

We are having new flooring fitted in the house, fitter was talking about reform and protecting our own, explained the real situation calmly and politely and he came around. Don’t fight fire with fire, treat people with respect and they will listen!

I’ve not got a lot to say about the Sun and the Mirror taking opposite sides on the Wagatha Christie Wars But very happy to see that new bus funding will be targeted to greatest need, which could be a huge boost to the most deprived and isolated parts round here, especially on the Isle of Sheppey

Today’s Sunday Mirror front page announces one billion pounds boost for funding bus services, vowing London-style bus services all over the country

Map from the Thames Estuary Growth Board’s recent Five Point Growth Plan for Fair Growth and Investment, showing areas with a mean journey time by public transport to access public services from zero through to seven times the national average. There are no ‘zero’ zones in Sittingbourne and Sheppey with most parts being badly served and the worst times are on the east of Sheppey. This is the part of the constituency with the highest levels of deprivation, very high levels when compared nationally not just regionally,and a significant ‘hidden’ population living in last resort, low rent accommodation in caravan parks.
